The objective of Video Poker is to receive the
highest ranked five card poker hand possible.
First you have to choose the total amount that
you wish to wager. Your cards will be dealt automatically. Pressing
BET ONE button you will play one coin then you have to press DEAL to
receive the cards. When the cards are shown and if the hand is not
very good, you can draw up more cards. If you want to keep some of
the cards of the hand click each one and then click DEAL, only the
cards that were not held will be switched.
Cards are ranked, from the higher to the lower,
Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine….Two, Ace. Ace can count as higher
or lower, depending of the hand.
HANDS RANK:
The hands rank for Video Poker are the classic poker hanks:
▪ Royal
Flush – Is the higher hand, it worth 2000 points. This hand has a Ten,
Jack, Queen, King and Ace, all of the same suit;
▪ Straight Flush –Worth’s 250 points. Five consecutive cards all of the same suit;
▪ Four
of a Kind – Worth’s 125 points. Four cards of the same value;
▪ Full
House – Worth’s 40 points. A three of a kind and a pair at the same time;
▪ Flush - Worth’s 25 points. All cards in your hand are the same suit;
▪ Straight – Worth’s 20 points. five cards are consecutive;
▪ Three
of a Kind –Worth’s 15 points. Three cards of the same value;
▪ Two
Pair – Worth’s 10 points. Two pairs of cards;
▪ Pair - Worth’s 5 points. A
pair of cards, must be Jacks or better. Two cards in your hand are
the same value. In this version, they must be Jacks or better!
▪ If you
don’t obtain
none of the above described hands you’ll get zero points…
Video Poker Strategies:
▪ Never
draw four cards if drawing three you can make make a royal flush;
▪ Never
draw if you have a wining hand;
▪ Never
break a flush;
▪ Never
break a straigh;
▪ Never
draw all the five cards if you have a jack or better.
